Care instructions
Make It Last — Naturally
Taking care of your Caspar products is the best way to keep them looking and feeling their best. We use high-quality materials and durable, water-based inks designed to last — but proper care helps preserve their softness, shape, and color for years to come.
Whether it’s DTG apparel, all-over printed pieces, or custom fabric by the meter, these simple tips will help you make the most of every Caspar product.
Wash with care — wear with pride.
-
Wash cold (max 30°C) on a gentle cycle to preserve print and fabric quality.
-
Turn garments or fabric inside out before washing to protect colors and printed areas.
-
Use mild, bleach-free detergent. Avoid softeners — they can weaken natural fibers and pigment inks.
-
Do not tumble dry. Air drying is best for color, shape, and sustainability.
-
Iron inside out on low heat if needed, avoiding direct contact with printed areas.
-
Avoid prolonged sunlight exposure, especially for Natural Raw garments and other un-dyed fabrics, as UV light can cause fading.
Tip: Always wash full loads with similar colors — this reduces friction, saves energy, and extends the life of your textiles.
Caring for Natural Raw Cotton
Natural Raw products are un-dyed and unbleached — made to showcase cotton’s true character. Tiny natural specks, fiber variations, and subtle tone shifts are part of their charm.
To maintain that authentic, organic look:
-
Wash cold (30°C or lower) using a gentle detergent for delicate fabrics.
-
Avoid stain removers and optical brighteners, which may alter the natural tone.
-
Air dry flat to preserve the raw texture and color.
-
Store away from direct sunlight or artificial light for long periods.
Natural Raw fabrics evolve with time — slight tone changes are normal and reflect the fabric’s organic nature.
Special Care for Dark Colors on Natural Fabrics
Dark pigments (black, navy, deep green, etc.) need a bit of extra attention to stay bold and even:
-
Always wash inside out in cold water (30°C or below).
-
Avoid washing a single item alone — it can rub against the drum and damage the print.
-
Skip the dryer — air dry to prevent cracking and fading.
For Printed Fabric by the Meter
If you’ve ordered custom printed fabric rolls for sewing or production:
-
Hem or overlock the edges before washing to prevent fraying.
-
Follow the same washing rules — gentle cycle, cold water, mild detergent.
-
Iron on low heat, preferably on the reverse side.
A Final Note
Every small care step — washing gently, air drying, protecting from heat and sunlight — helps your Caspar products stay vibrant, soft, and sustainable wash after wash.
Because quality isn’t just how it’s made — it’s how it’s cared for.
