Master the New Stanley/Stella Product Customizer

We’re excited to introduce the brand-new Stanley/Stella Product Customizer, designed exclusively for DTG printing and embroidery.

Now you can design directly on premium Stanley/Stella garments, preview every detail in real time, and personalize your products with ease — all in one place.

In this guide, we’ll walk you through each step so you can start designing, customizing, and ordering your products with confidence.

Good to know: You can combine DTG printing and embroidery on a single product.

For example, you might choose a printed design on the front and an embroidered logo on the chest — all managed directly in the same customizer.

New Customizer Toolbar Overview

The new built-in Product Customizer gives you full control over your designs. Here’s what you can do:

1. Upload File — add your own design straight from your device

2. Add Text — include custom text directly on the fabric design

3. Browse Designs — access your previously uploaded files

4. Preview Mockup — see your design in full before ordering

5. Download Preview — save the mockup to your device

6. Delete Image — remove any file you don’t need

Once you upload a file, you’ll see a carousel toolbar appear below the editor.

From here, you can:

1. Adjust file repeat

2. Change file size

3. Align the image within the design area

Between the Width and Height boxes, you’ll notice a lock icon — this helps you control how your file resizes:

• When the icon is locked, your file scales proportionally (keeping its original aspect ratio).

• When unlocked, you can freely adjust width and height independently for custom scaling.

This gives you full flexibility to match your design perfectly to the printable area.

Guide 1: DTG Printing

You can print on the following positions:

• Front side

• Left chest

• Center chest

• Neck tag

• Back side

Tip: If you upload a file to one position (e.g. front) and then switch to another (e.g. neck tag), the previous file won’t be visible — but it’s still there.

You can always preview your designed product by clicking the 👁️ eye icon, or download the mockup using the ⬇️ download icon.

Guide 2: Embroidery

Embroidery can be placed on:

• Left chest

• Center chest

You can also preview your embroidery design using the eye icon and download your mockup at any time.

Adjusting Uploaded Files

If your file has a lower DPI than recommended, you’ll see a clear warning both above the editor and in a pop-up window when trying to add the file to your cart.

This ensures that your print quality always meets the highest standards.

Saving and Reusing Designs

Clicking “Create Product” saves your design to your account. This allows you to:

• Quickly access it at any time

• Re-edit or resize it

• Reuse the same design across different products

If you make changes to an existing saved design, you can choose to save over the original or create a new product version — the choice is yours.
